Streaming Royalties Account for over 40% of Warner Music’s Total Revenue

Warner Music Group Posts over $1 Billion for Q4 Revenue with Streaming Income Accounting for $404 million

Highlights include:

  • $481 Million for digital which includes $404 million  for streaming and $77 million for downloads
  • $223 million for physical sales
  • $143 million for music publishing — again with digital revenue for publishing hitting 37% of total revenue at $53 million
  • $105 million for artist services and expanded rights

Geographically, the U.S. generated $433 million, while international accounted for $614 million
