Sony Sows Seeds for the Future by Buying The Orchard 

Sony previously held a 51% stake in digital distributor The Orchard but now plans to fully acquire it for an additional $200 million. The deal puts the total valuation at about $392 million with sources saying  that The Orchard generates about $200 million in revenue a year.

If those numbers are correct, Sony’s initial $50 million investment for cash and equity look pretty nice.
