Album sales haven’t been this bad in more than 20 years. Here’s one pro’s take on it all:

A closer look at this past week’s Soundscan numbers reveal that about 4.5 million albums were sold in America in the most recently measured period October 21-27. This was the lowest level since Soundscan came into being on March 1, 1991.
